Holo Humpday: Superficially Colorful Tsahik

Hello my sweet readers! When I recently pulled out some polishes from Superficially Colorful Lacquer‘s A Life On Pandora collection, I realized I’ve never shared pics of my favorite one! This collection full of neon holos is to die for, and I think Tsahik is the most beautiful!

I love love LOVE this polish! Coral holos are so great! I know I’ve shared a bunch of coral polishes, but it’s because I love this shade so much! It makes me look like I actually have some pigment in my skin.

The color is so hard to photograph! The above pic makes it look like it leans more orange, but in real life it’s a true coral. It’s a perfect mix of pink and slight orange.

This pic is much more true to color! Gorgeous right?! Just wait, cause here comes the money shot!

So bright! So coral! Aaaaaand it’s holographic! My drool has no limits.

Right?!

So what do you think? Do you like coral as much as I do? What do you think about a comparison post with all the coral holos I have – any interest?

Happy humpday and here’s your daily David Tennant:

Holo Humpday: Superficially Colorful Utral Aymokriya

Hello sweeties and happy Wednesday! Today is a quick post for Holo Humpday since I’m on vacation. I wanted to share another gorgeous polish from the Life on Pandora collection by Superficially Colorful Lacquer (check out some of the others here, here, here, and here). This holo is Utral Aymokriya!

Whoa baby, right?! All the preview posts I saw listed this as the breakout color from the collection, and I don’t think they were wrong! It’s absolutely stunning!

As I’ve mentioned recently, I’ve really been feeling this pink-leaning purple shade recently. The fuchsia speaks to me! It is totally my jam!

Aww I miss Parks & Rec! Did you watch that show? I loved it so hard!

Anyways, more polish!

Holo Humpday: Superficially Colorful Omaticaya

Hello sweeties!! I’m feeling “writers block” right now. I’m like Michael Scott here:

Michael Scott, the office

So yeah, I’m going to keep it short and sweet and just show you aย pretty holo! I scrounged around my collection to see if there were any older holos that haven’t been shared, and I came across my Superficially Colorful Lacquer’s A Life on Pandora collection (aka a neon holo Avatar-inspired line). I realized it was high time to share others! I previously posted Atokirina, Toruk Makto, and The Sacred Tsaheylu. So without further ado, I give you Omaticaya!

Huminah, huminah, huminah… drool, drool, drool – SO PRETTY! Doesn’t that pic look extra saturated or altered? Well, it’s not… because this polish is that gorgeous!

Superficially Colorful Omaticaya

Superficially Colorful Omaticaya

Omaticaya refers to the nationality of the people living on the planet, Pandora. If you’ve seen the movie (or even just a poster or trailer), doesn’t the polish look identical to the skin color of the Omaticaya?! #iamaginormousnerd

Yeah this blue is ridiculous! Here’s a closeup:

Whoa baby. Just WHOA. Isn’t that stunning?! What do you think? Did you check this collection out? If not, it’s totally worth it! I own the whole collection, and love each one!

And now for your daily David Tennant!

Holo Humpday: Superficially Colorful Lacquer Toruk Makto + Halloween stamping

Happy almost Halloween! Or maybe today I should say “Holo-ween?” Womp womp – sorry, that was a bad pun. But today is another Holo Humpday! And I figured I’d spruce it up with a Halloween-themed color and some stamping.

I’m sure y’all remember how much I loooooove Superficially Colorful’s Life on Pandora collection. It’s an amazing combo of neon and holo, plus the polishes are a perfect formula and are black light reactive! How can you go wrong? Check out the neon pink and neon green in the linked posts.

Anyways, I wanted to start off just showing you the polish on its own:

Superficially Colorful Lacquer Toruk Makto

Superficially Colorful Lacquer Toruk Makto

Here’s the description of the polish:

The Toruk Makto is the rider of Toruk. An orange holographic polish inspired by the brave rider of the Toruk โ€“ the great red-orange leonopteryx, who could unite all the different clans of Pandora natives.

This is an amazing neon orange holo polish! Love love love! It’s even more neon-appearing in person. It dries a bit satin, so top coat this baby to make it shine!

I decided to stamp some Halloween images because, well, it’s almost Halloween and this color is very holiday-appropriate!

Boo!

Boo!

As you can tell, the polish looks more orange and vivid on the nails than in the bottle. It’s like a highlighter orange!

For the stamping plate, I used the Winstonia W116 plate that has all Halloween-appropriate images. I used Rica Blackout for my stamping polish.

So I know orange is a polarizing color for people – would you wear this? If so, you should totally check out Superficially Colorful because the collection was recently restocked!

Beautiful Unicorn Dandruff Manicure

You know when there’s that one polish on your wishlist forever and you’re not quite sure why you haven’t yet made it your own? And then when you do, it’s as amazing as you thought it’d be? For me, that’s Rica’s Unicorn Dandruff. I had it as a pending purchase for over a month, and I finally bought it… let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed!

Unicorn Dandruff in all its glory

I bought Zoya Ryan, and I realized my Unicorn Dandruff (PS – how great is that name??) matched it perfectly along with a gorgeous neon green holo of mine. Zoya Ryan is sooo pretty! It’s a dark navy blue with teal hues – and it barely stains!

So pretty! Just look at that bottle!

So much love! And here’s yet another pic:

Can’t go wrong with The Sacred Tsaheylu!

And that neon green holo! Oof – it’s amazing! It’s another polish in the Superficially Colorful Lacquer’s A Life on Pandora collection, and that collection has yet to treat me wrong. Every single polish is a winner! This green is certainly not an exception!

And the main event:

Woooow! I just love this glitter topper! It has silver, neon green, and iridescent blue glitter, and has great coverage in just one coat. I just love it so much! Also, please excuse my cuticles on that close-up – as I was pushing back my cuticles, I slipped and took a chunk out by accident… ouch!

So what do you think? Aren’t these polishes beautiful? I was so happy they matched one another so perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, guess who is having their 1 year blogiversary next week? Hint – it’s me! Yay for a whole year of blogging!

Holo Humpday: Superficially Colorful Lacquer Atokirina

I’m so excited to show you this next holo of mine! I happened upon some amazing swatches of neon holographic polishes from Israel on a blog I follow, My Nail Polish Obsession. And y’all know I can’t resist a good neon or a good holo, so the combination was lethal for me! So once Superficially Colorful Lacquer released the collection, I bought 6 out of the 7 polishes.

Before I show you one of the beauties, I have to say – Jin (the creator of Superficially Colorful Lacquer) has such great customer service! She added the 7th polish to my order for free, and wrote me a really sweet email after I thanked her for the gift. She put out a gorgeous collection based on Avatar, called Life on Pandora. Each polish is a Na’vi phrase or word.

Without further ado, here’s the first stunning polish from the Life on Pandora collection – Atokirina. Atokirina represents the seeds from the Tree of Life, and the polish is a neon barbie pink scattered holo.

Whew! I mean, come on! So stunning – there’s even a little bit of a blueish hue in certain lighting.

Another gorgeous pic of Atokirina

Oh and guess what – this is also a glow-in-the-dark polish! How can you deal with such amazingness?

Here’s a closeup:

Love love love… just love. I’m not sure when Jin is restocking this collection, but you should definitely pick up all of them! I can’t wait to see what Jin puts out next!
